I took a lead role in developing/instigating a range of successful national strategies that targeted perpetrators of crime, including domestic abuse, on-line fraud, and modern day slavery. The work of Crimestoppers often supported vulnerable groups of people from all backgrounds. Over the past year, I have become a Trustee of 2MakeIt, a charity that supports individuals serving prison sentences, through their participation in music and art. Many of these individuals have learning needs. There is clearly much more to be done.
