What is e-Learning?

e-Learning is electronic learning, where most, or all, of your course is delivered digitally through a learning platform. BDA e-Learning courses are provided through our BDA Learn portal, which is accessed via the internet.

Who is e-Learning for?

e-Learning is an ideal option for those who want to organise training and study times around work or family commitments, live outside of the UK, or simply want to refresh and update their knowledge at their own pace. Our online training modules offer content suited to both UK and international audiences and focuses on up-to-date information and practical strategies.

e-Learning modules can be taken as stand-alone short courses or built up as an accredited OCN qualification [link to accredited training info].

E-Learning modules are suitable for anyone interested in developing their knowledge of dyslexia, dyscalculia and neurodiversity, including individuals with dyslexia, parents, carers, teaching assistants, teachers, employers and specialist practitioners.

• Reduced travel and costs. Flexible online learning means less travel and less time off work, thereby reducing the costs associated with travel, workplace cover and childcare.

• A pace that’s right for you. Choose when you study and how often you access and review your learning.

Access to e-Learning modules are released on the first Thursday following the submission of your booking, or for Level 5 and 7 accredited courses, modules are released following enrolment. e-Learning modules are only released providing payment has been made before the allotted time.
