The Manchester Marathon is one of the popular marathons in the UK. Starting at the Trafford Arch, you'll run 26.2 miles through the city and Greater Manchester and enjoy the incredible Mancunian support throughout the course!
By joining the team and raising a minimum of £400 sponsorship you'll help us continue to be there for everyone with dyslexia. You'll receive:
- A BDA running top to wear on the big day
- Lots of great fundraising and training advice.
- Dedicated support from our Fundraising Manager, providing information in the run up to your event.

Already have a ballot place?
If you have already secured your own place but wish to run for the British Dyslexia Association we would love to have you as part of the team and send you a running top. There is no fundraising target, but we would appreciate anything you are able to raise. Please email fundraising@bdadyslexia.org.uk to let us know you would like to run on our behalf.
Terms And Conditions
1) There is a £25 registration fee and an £1 booking fee to register for this event.
2)The closing date for booking your place is December 20th
3) You must be at least 17 years old to enter the race.
4) Unfortunately Gift Aid does not count towards your £400 target.
5) For charity sponsorship places, we ask fundraisers to raise a minimum of 75% of their pledged minimum sponsorship by the event date, with the balance due 1 month after the event. We hold the right to cancel places before the event if we feel the runner will not reach our minimum fundraising sponsorship.
