Gaynor Foy

Gaynor's current position with the British Dyslexia Association consists of the provision of high-quality academic tutorials and technical reviews of submitted coursework. Gaynor provided the student-specific guidance required to assist learners to achieve their Certificate in Dyslexia: Literacy, Support and Intervention Level 5. As the Assistant Course Leader, Gaynor's role is to assist the Course Leader with the delivery and development of this course.

Previously Gaynor worked as a Dyslexia Support Teacher and Assessor working for the City of Liverpool College (since 2013); this involved the provision of a range of specialist assessment and teaching methods, in order to assist learners with a range of Specific Learning Differences (SpLD) to fully utilise and develop their skills, self-esteem and independence.

Gaynor is fully committed to a career specialising in Dyslexia and had devoted a large amount of time to her career development activities, including undertaking a post-graduate diploma in Dyslexia Research and Practice (holding a current APC), attending a variety of courses and training events in order to gain a wider knowledge/skill base, and she is a full member of PATOSS and have AMBDA.
